Holiday Sweets at the Disneyland Resort

Michelle Harker tells Disney Parks Blog all about the holiday sweets at the Disneyland Resort…

December is right around the corner. Are you curious as to what our Candy Makers or – as I like to call them – magical Candy Elves have been up to? All I can say is, you won’t believe it until you see it! There are over 25 different offerings available this season that are sure to delight the senses.

Kicking off December is our gourmet caramel apple, which has been covered in dark chocolate, infused with peppermint oil. Topping it off are red and green chocolates with the finishing touch of white chocolate drizzle and white sugar.

Fans of peppermint certainly won’t be disappointed! Here’s what else you can expect to find: dark chocolate peppermint bark with white chocolate marbling, topped off with crushed candy canes. I’m pretty sure this is up for consideration of fan favorite this year, so I hope you try it.

Want more? Try the dark chocolate and peppermint marshmallow wand, which I know most consider a decadent bite size treat. Then we have the peppermint topped Mickey Mouse caramel apple that has been covered in chocolate and candy canes. Lastly, don’t miss the traditional and equally delicious creamy chocolate and peppermint fudge.

Other classic choices and festive offerings include snowman-inspired cake pops and gourmet apples, Santa Mickey and Santa Minnie apples, along with this year’s newest addition, Mickey Mouse Ornament apples. Also keep an eye out for holiday-themed pretzel rods, rice crispy treats, plus our handcrafted English Toffee, Pecan and Peanut Brittle and decadent Fudgemallow squares.

A few other quick picks include the Mickey Mouse Trolley Cone which is only available at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure park, and of course, what most Disney fans consider the holy grail of holiday treats, the candy canes. As you know the candy canes are in high demand and only available on select dates at only a couple of locations.
