As many fans already know, tonight marked the last day of operation for both the Great Movie Ride and Ellen’s Energy Adventure with the latter’s 7 p.m. closure meaning it’s already entered yesterland. But, according to multiple reports on Twitter, guests aboard the attraction for its final run never actually got to complete their ride-through as the traveling theatre vehicles came to a stop in the dinosaur room and guests were evacuated. While some might see this as a major inconvenience, it appears Cast Members allowed riders to walk around the around and take photos before being led out of the attraction for the last time:

The final ride on Ellen's Energy Adventure resulted in an Evac! They let us walk around and touch everything! Now off to Great Movie Ride!

So what caused the evac? Ironically, it seems it was an energy-related issue:
One of the ride vehicles has a bad battery pack, it would take too long to take off.

What a strange way to end a beloved attraction — so long, Universe of Energy!
