This annual festival hosted at Disney California Adventure is a favorite among guests. With educational seminars, tastings, and parties there is sure to be something to please everyone. Join the fun from March 1 – April 23, 2019.

Festival Marketplaces

Enjoy tasty culinary samples from these marketplace booths located around the park. Guests can purchase individual items or recommended food and beverage pairings.

Seminars, Tastings, and Special Events

These seminars led by industry and Disney chefs promise to be educational and fun and cover a variety of topics. Some offerings require reservations separate from general park admission. Events are subject to change without notice.

Family-Friendly Seminars

Join Chef Daniella Malfitano for inspiring culinary demonstrations that focus on celebrating family time. Culinary demonstrations are included with valid park admission and will be held at Hollywood Land Backlot Stage. Preparing and sharing a meal is a wonderful way to spend time together as a family. Chef Daniella presents fun and inspiring demonstrations to help even the busiest of families come together. These demonstrations will be offered on Fridays through Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Culinary Demonstrations

Food & Wine

Adults and teenagers are welcome to attend these seminars offered at the Hollywood Land Backlot Stage. From vegetable growing, and cooking demonstrations to everything in between, guests will leave inspired and knowledgeable on a variety of topics. Each session will run from 20 – 30 minutes long and seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Seminars will be held Fridays at 3:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00 pm, 4:15 pm, and 5:30 pm during the festival.

Wine, Beer, and Mixology Education & Tasting Seminars

Food & Wine Festival

Expand the palate at these tasting seminars led by beverage experts. Guest will develop a new understanding and appreciation for a variety of alcoholic beverages during each 30-45 minute session. Advance reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited. Reservations may be made up to event day, but space is not guaranteed. Reservations are separate from park admission and must be paid for in full and in advance. Once booked, there are no cancellations or refunds. Each seminar is $20 per person plus tax and only guests 21 and older with valid ID will be admitted to the seminars.

Wine Seminars

Wine Education & Tastings will be offered at 5:45 pm on Thursdays and 1:15 pm and 2:45 pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the festival. Each session will be held on the Sonoma Terrace, led by a knowledgeable Disney Sommelier and will focus on different wine regions, varietals, styles, and personal favorites.

Beer Seminars

Beer Education & Tastings will be offered Fridays through Sundays during the festival at Paradise Gardens Colonnade near Paradise Garden Grill. Each session will be led by a beverage industry expert and will feature multiple tastings focusing on the different styles of beer and food pairing recommendations. Friday through Sunday sessions will be offered at 3:30 pm and 5:15 pm.

Mixology Seminars

Mixology Education & Tastings will be offered Fridays through Sundays during the festival at The Vineyard Room at Wine Country Trattoria. Each session will be led by a distiller or craft spirit expert and will focus on one type of spirit or drink. Guests will be able to follow along with the session leader and make one of the featured cocktails on their own.  Friday through Sunday sessions will be offered at 4:15 pm and 5:45 pm.

In the Kitchen With...

Food & Wine Festival

Celebrity chefs will host these informative demonstration sessions highlighting their favorite dishes and cuisines. Guests will enjoy a delicious brunch buffet, featuring one of the chef’s dishes. After the demo, ticketed guests are invited to take a photo with the visiting chef. Chefs will have additional book-signing opportunities for Guests not attending the event. Advance reservations are required as space is limited. Reservations may be made up to event day, but space is not guaranteed. Reservations are separate from park admission and must be paid for in full and in advance. Once booked, there are no cancellations or refunds. Each seminar is $110 per person plus tax and gratuities. Only guests 21 and older with valid ID will be served alcohol.

Dinner With the Disney Chefs

Food & Wine Festival

Celebrate the release of the new Disney Festivals cookbook and enjoy a four-course meal prepared by three of the featured Disney chefs, Culinary Director Chef John State, Chef de Cuisine Jimmy Weita, and Executive Pastry Chef Jean-Marc Viallet, with a delightfully-paired beverage menu curated by Disney Sommelier Jeannie Villarreal-Bissell. Advance reservations are required as space is limited. Reservations must be paid for in full and in advance. Once booked, there are no cancellations or refunds. Only guests 21 and older with valid ID will be allowed to attend the dinner. Valid park admission is required and is not included.

The chefs will be available following the event to sign purchased copies of the cookbook. A limited quantity of the Disney Festivals Cookbook will be available for purchase at the event.

Jr. Chef

Aspiring young chefs can participate in this fun “cooking” class in the Hollywood Backlot in Hollywood Land. Guests 3-11 years old will mix together an assortment of ingredients and then bake them in a magic oven. The result? Wrapped goodies for all chefs! Cooking classes are offered multiple times each day during the festival and are available on a first come, first served basis. Chefs under 7 years old must be accompanied by another guest at least 14 years of age.

Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri

Watch as Guy Fieri lights up the night in a fun, 60-minute live presentation that includes demonstrating a few of his favorite dishes. You’ll also learn how Guy got his start and how a pretzel cart was key to his future success. Following the presentation, you’re invited to attend an after-party at Paradise Garden Grill where you may sample a few of the dishes prepared on stage. Ticketed event Guests may enjoy a complimentary cocktail or non-alcoholic specialty beverage as they enter the seating area. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Advanced reservations are required for this event as space is limited. Once booked, there are no cancellations or refunds. Only guests 21 and older with valid ID will be served an alcoholic beverage during the evening.
