Welcome the November 9th Walt Disney World Update. This update covers many, many changes around the Walt Disney World resort over the past few months including construction pictures at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and of the new resorts - more than 100 pictures in all, many in very high resolution.

Magic Kingdom - Page 1
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and the Agrabah Bazaar are under construction in Adventureland next to the Enchanted Tiki Room, Under New Management and across from the Swiss Family Treehouse. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is spinning ride similar to Dumbo utilizing "Magic Carpets". In addition to going up and down the vehicles will be able to tilt forward and backward. The attraction will also feature spitting camels and the carpets will fly around a giant Genie lamp as music from the film plays. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin will exit into a shopping area called the Agrabah Bazaar which will feature open air shopping under canopies and exotic merchandise.

Agrabah Bazaar is scheduled to open on December 15th. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin should open in May 2000. Construction pictures from late October are shown below: (Click here for the official press release)
