CBS Announces “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” to Ring In 2022 with Country Music Stars

CBS will ring in the new year on December 31st with New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash featuring country music superstars.

What’s Happening:

  • Country music fans can count down to 2022 on CBS with the live television event New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash.
  • The 5-hour party starts at 8/7c on December 31st and lasts until 1:30 am ET/PT, with a half-hour break at 11 pm for local news.
  • In addition to being broadcast on CBS, the event will be available via live stream and on Paramount+.
  • The special will take place from multiple locations throughout downtown Nashville, including the main stage in Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
  • The countdown to midnight will include Nashville’s iconic music note drop and fireworks at midnight CT.
  • The special will be executive produced by Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington in partnership with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp; directed by Sandra Restrepo.
  • CBS has announced the initial lineup of performers, with more to be announced in the near future.
