Father and 3-Year-Old Daughter Recreate “I See the Light” from “Tangled”

When a YouTube link gets sent to me, after looking at the title and description, I typically have a basic idea of what I’m in for and what the appeal will likely be. In this case, I knew that it would be a young girl (three years olds, actually) and her father at a lantern festival in Utah attempting to recreate the classic scene in Disney’s Rapunzel Tangled. What I didn’t realize was that same three-year-old would actually be singing the song as well. Needless to say, this sent the clip into adorable overload territory.

This video, featuring Claire Ryann and her father, is undeniably cute. As mentioned, part of the video was shot at The Lantern Fest in Salt Lake City while the rest approximates the boat that’s seen in the film. With Claire in her Rapunzel dress and dad in an impressive Flynn Rider outfit, the two belt out all the words to the Alan Menken and Glenn Slater-penned tune to with a gorgeous backdrop of lights. Take a look:

FWIW, if you get the chance to visit a lantern festival, do it! I attended one in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and there were definitely more than a few Tangled references to be seen.

But, back to the video, is this not the most adorable thing you have ever seen? Comment below will all of your “awwwww”s appropriately.
