The Disneyland Resort and its cast members will recognize U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta at a special flag retreat ceremony. Giunta was recently presented the Medal of Honor by President Obama for his heroic actions in Afghanistan. The Medal of Honor is the nation’s highest military honor. Also being honored will be U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Erick Gallardo, Silver Star recipient and Southern California native.
