TV Line is reporting that Orange is the New Black’s Lorraine Toussaint has been cast as Lt. Joanna Reece on ABC’s upcoming series Forever. The character is described as “a “weathered,” fiftysomething police vet who’s “seen it all” — and serves as the new boss for Alana de la Garza’s Det. Jo Martinez.”
Previously she guest starred on ABC’s Ugly Betty, Scandal, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Forever will air Tuesdays at 10/9c on ABC, following Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
