Reports indicate that Kenneth Branagh has signed on to develop a film based on Disney Publishing’s Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer.
The long developing project reportedly has Conor McPherson in talks to write the script.
Previously Branagh directed the first film in the Thor franchise as well as Disney’s live-action adaptation of Cinderella.
No release date was given for the potential Artemis Fowl film.
