The Disney Parks Blog announced that BB-8 will begin meeting guests at Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. He is joining Kylo Ren and Chewbacca who also appear in the location. BB-8 is scheduled to debut this Spring but an exact date is not known. It is also not known if BB-8 will begin appearing at Disneyland’s version of Star Wars Launch Bay or if this will be exclusive to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A skittish but loyal astromech, BB-8 accompanied Poe Dameron on many missions for the Resistance, helping keep his X-wing in working order. When Poe’s mission to Jakku ended with his capture by the First Order, BB-8 fled into the desert with a vital clue to the location of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.
BB-8 will next appear on screen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi
