Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating Donald Duck’s birthday by hosting a multi-day celebration with a plethora of merchandise, food, beverages, entertainment and more themed to the iconic Disney character offered throughout the resort.
- The celebration has already begun and will run through Donald’s birthday on June 9.
- During the celebration the Donald Duck meet and greet location in Shanghai Disneyland will feature celebratory birthday decor, and Donald will be on hand to welcome guests from around the world with a warm hug.
- Mickey Mouse will also be handing the baton over to Donald to lead the Shanghai Disneyland Band—adding his charm and humor to the show as he guides the talented musicians through delightful performances on Mickey Avenue.
- On June 9 there will also be a special birthday ceremony near the Storyteller Statue featuring Donald Duck and his friends, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto.
- Guests will also be invited to join the celebration and sing “Happy Birthday” to Donald—making for a wonderful photo moment to share with friends.
- Shanghai Disney Resort will also offer memorable new Donald-inspired merchandise, including:
