Dish and ESPN Reach Deal for ACC Network

ESPN and Dish have reached an agreement to carry ESPN’s ACC Network ahead of the official start of the College Football season.

What They Are Saying:

  • ESPN: ESPN and Dish have an agreement in principle to distribute ACC Network on DISH TV and Sling TV in time for tonight’s opener between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the No. 1 ranked Clemson Tigers. If you are a DISH subscriber with America’s Top 120+ or above, the Regional Action Pack or the Multi-Sport Pack, you can find tonight’s game on channel 402. ACC Network will be available on Sling Orange tonight and Sling Orange Sports Extra Starting tomorrow.

Other Disney-Disney News:

  • Dish and Disney have been negotiating to continue carrying FX and National Geographic channels as their deal was scheduled to end Tuesday night
  • The networks remained available to DISH and Sling subscribers as both sides say that contract negotiations have been productive
  • It is unknown if the deal for the ACC Network has any impact to the ongoing distribution of FX and National Geographic
