We were at the new Creations Shop at EPCOT earlier today and spotted some more of the World’s Most Magical Merchandise hitting the shelves just in time for the start of the World’s Most Magical Celebration on October 1st, including a number of new pins.
New pin traders can get started with a starter kit featuring favorite characters, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto and a special lanyard. And what better way to keep that lanyard weighted than with this lanyard chain, featuring Mickey Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle with the Walt Disney World moniker and the new 50th symbol.
Blind boxes are all the rage for pins and other fun merchandise, and this 50th set is sure to be popular as it features characters from the parks, including popular ones like Orange Bird and Figment, and forgotten favorites like SMRT-1 from Communicore and Mr. Dairy Goods from Kitchen Kabaret.
There are also fun 50th pins featuring different characters, including Mickey and Minnie together on one pin, and Goofy and Pluto in the middle of the new 50th symbol on another.
We also noticed just a few of the new 50th Anniversary reusable bags on sale at this location. Other designs are similar and also feature characters. The ones we saw at the Creations Shop are covered with different park icons and shapes.
All of this fun new merchandise was spotted at EPCOT while we were there checking out another offering that has opened just in time for the World’s Most Magical Celebration, the Space 220 Restaurant attached to Mission: SPACE at the park! See what we thought about it here!
