La Voix De l'Enfant
is a Federation of 50 associations with one common concern: the well-being of
children, whoever and wherever they may be La Voix De L'Enfant, created in July 1981, has
one sole aim: “Listen to and protect suffering children in France and throughout the
World”.
Via the associations assembled, it is:
The spokesperson for children in France and throughout the entire world;
A force in promoting the application of the International Convention on Children’s Rights, international treaties, and national legislation;
A platform for exchanges and coordination for the protection and defense of children;
A place of dialogue and partnership for member associations;
An initiator of programs;
A center for information and documentation for the creation of a data bank;
A bridge, when needed, between associations and Public Authorities.
The Foundation represents its associations, among other things, in being a:
Member of the National Consulting Commission on Human Rights;
Member of the FAC Children in the Street Pilot Committee (Junior Ministry of Voluntary Work);
Member of the French Council of Associations for Children’s Rights;
Member of the UNESCO
Member of the Administration Board of the Fondation SUEZ LYONNAISE DES EAUX.
In 1987 and 1992 “La Voix de l'Enfant” received The Human Rights Award from the French Republic.
