The New Walk in Walt's Footsteps Guided Tour
Page 3 of 3
Stop 19, Castle West Forecourt: The history of Sleeping Beauty Castle and a story about the single bronze spire that you probably didn't know.
Stop 20, Mark Twain exit: Stories about Frontierland, the Mark Twain, the Golden Horseshoe review and more tributes.
Stop 21, Disney Gallery: A tour of what would've been Walt's New Orleans Square apartment
Our final stop
Stop 22, Lunch in the Disney Gallery courtyard. The guide does stay and around and eat lunch with you so questions can be answered throughout.
Obviously, the locations visited and material covered is subject to change.
Should You Go?
Of course only you can answer that, but here some things that might help you
decide. If you took the original Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour, you'll cover a
lot of the same stuff here. But there is some new material and, of course, the
Club 33 and TIki Room visits are completely new. I think most serious Disneyland
buffs will still find several stories they haven't heard before on this tour.
And experiencing the tour with a knowledgeable guide and other participants who
are Disneyland buffs like yourself can be a lot of fun. If it's your first or
second visit to Disneyland or you're not a fan of Walt and Disneyland history,
this tour is not for you. The tour does focus on Walt and Disneyland. If you're
looking for something that focuses on Walt Disney in general, not just
Disneyland, or something that focuses on the 47 years of Disneyland history, not
just Walt's years, this tour is also probably not for you. After that it
probably comes down to is it worth $49. And once again - that's something that
only you can answer.
