From November 7 through December 25, 2006, Tokyo DisneySea Park will present the special event "Harborside Christmas" as part of the Park's 5th Anniversary celebrations. Harborside Christmas will be presented in Mediterranean Harbor and American Waterfront, both of which will be brimming with beautiful decorations and holiday entertainment, creating a joyous and memorable Christmas season at Tokyo DisneySea Park. Additionally, special Christmas menus and merchandise will be available throughout the Park.

Guests entering the Park will feel the spirit of Christmas immediately as they walk from the Main Entrance to Mediterranean Harbor through a glittering arch of illumination and a corridor decorated with Christmas trees and wreaths. Once they reach Mediterranean Harbor, guests will find a photo location featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse decorating a Christmas tree with ornaments commemorating the 5th Anniversary of the Park.

A Christmas feeling unique to a lively, big city like New York will be found in the streets of American Waterfront with Christmas billboards and street-side photo locations. A gaily-decorated Christmas tree, 15 meters high, will be set in front of the luxury liner S.S. Columbia.

After dark, on the waters of Mediterranean Harbor, guests will be able to enjoy a sparkling show entitled "Candlelight Reflections," which features Mickey and his Disney friends lighting a giant Christmas tree that rises out of the water. The finale of a romantic day in the Park is "Christmas Wishes in the Sky," a fireworks display set to popular Christmas music. Other entertainment, such as "Big Band Beat" at the Broadway Music Theatre," will be presented in special Christmas versions.

Guests will also enjoy shopping for holiday gifts, such as the special merchandise available only during the special event period, and dining on a variety of special Christmas menus.

Entertainment Programs

"Candlelight Reflections"
Mediterranean Harbor

"Candlelight Reflections" will be a spectacular nighttime show performed on the waters of Mediterranean Harbor, in which a giant Christmas tree will be lit on the water.

As music fills the air, countless candles will shine on the water in anticipation of the moment when Mickey and his friends will light the giant Christmas tree. All the lights will be turned off in Mediterranean Harbor, and in the darkness, the Christmas tree will begin to shine brightly and beautifully for all to see. A waterborne parade follows, featuring a cast of the Disney characters including Mickey, Minnie, and for the first time this year, Duffy the Disney Bear. Dazzling, dream-like lighting will then fill the harbor. The grand finale will feature glittering pyrotechnics. The giant Christmas tree will remain lit after the show, giving the nighttime Park an enchanting and romantic atmosphere.

"Big Band Beat - Christmas Special"

This live performance focuses on Swing Jazz, a style of jazz that attained worldwide popularity during the height of the Big Band Era in the 1920s, '30s and '40s, and features the powerful vocals and high-energy tap-dancing that Swing was noted for.

For the holiday season, a special version of the show will have a new Christmas scene with Goofy and Donald Duck making "guest" appearances. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse sing and dance to sweet love songs just perfect for Christmas. The Christmas medley comes to an exciting end with dancers dressed as Santa's Helpers and the entire cast singing and dancing to the holiday music.

For the show's finale, Mickey Mouse performing on the drums creates a truly unforgettable performance.

Wearing all new costumes for the 5th Anniversary, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and the rest of the Disney pals greet the guests in this bright and bubbly performance. Christmas songs will also be performed to celebrate the season with the audience.

"Over the Waves"

This musical show commemorates the Park's 5th Anniversary aboard the S.S. Columbia. Christmas elements will be added to one scene and for the finale Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will appear in Santa outfits.

In addition to the above shows, "Voices of Christmas" will feature a cappella performances of Christmas songs. Programs introduced for the 5th Anniversary such as "Cape Cod Step Out," "Rhythmic Pimientos" and "Salsa! Salsa! Salsa!" will offer Christmas music and add to the overall holiday atmosphere of the Park.

Harborside Christmas Merchandise

During the event period, about 170 different types special merchandise items will be available at Emporio, Valentina's Sweets and various other locations around the Park. The merchandise will feature the event logo, the sparkling tree from "Candlelight Reflections" and a heart-shaped wreath with Mickey and Minnie.

The two game booths located in American Waterfront will offer prizes with Christmas designs.

Harborside Christmas Special Menus

Harborside Christmas special menus and lunch boxes will be available at 21 restaurants and food wagons throughout the Park. In addition, menus that include souvenir items will also be available.

Christmas Again Passport

From November 7 through December 24, the special weekday-only "Christmas Again Passport" will be available for guests visiting Tokyo DisneySea who wish to enjoy the Tokyo Disneyland special event, Christmas Fantasy, as well. Don't miss this opportunity to experience two wonderful Christmas events.
