There is actually a lot of big news….I'll start with the one everyone will care about….
It looks like Epcot will celebrate its 25th birthday with some events! The form those will take is still a mystery but there will be a way Epcot guests can take part of the celebration. It will not be a Cast Member only celebration as former VP Brad Rex has been quoted as saying in the past.
On the occasion of the All-Star Break, Dan Patrick announced that he will be leaving ESPN in August to "try something different". While I know this news is not "Disney" it is big for the company. Dan Patrick has been the face of ESPN, besides Chris Berman, since the days of "The Big Show" with Keith. ESPN is losing one of its stars, but the nice thing is ESPN is not driven by its anchors and hosts but by sports. Dan's leaving will not hurt ESPN, but it is still going to be an emotional, clip-filled, nostalgic occasion.
