In my personal opinion I don’t think any Disney Resort on earth captures the spirit and magic of Christmas more than Disneyland Paris. Snow falls from the rooftops of Main Street and ice sparkles on the castle torrents while a colourful procession of Characters fill the streets with Christmas joy and wonder in the daily Christmas Parade. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year to visit. 2015 is no exception as much of Summer’s Frozen Fun entertainment returning for the winter months.
Christmas Parade
A daily cavalcade of Characters and floats fill the paths of Disneyland Paris. Mickey and all his friends are all here along with Santa Claus riding on holiday themed floats.
Dreams of Christmas
The hugely popular Disney Dreams Castle projection show has been replaced by Dreams of Christmas. Olaf from Frozen takes us through a journey of Christmas stories and scenes. This builds up to the finale which involves a medley of Frozen songs. This is an original and unique show although several of the scenes will be recognizable to fans out in California.
Frozen Live Sing-Along
Anna, Elsa and Olaf put on a live Sing-Along of Frozen’s most popular songs. Joining them on stage are a cast of performers giving this show a real stage show feeling. It’s presented several times daily in both French and English so check the times for your preferred performance.
Entertainment
Tree lighting ceremonies, princess greetings and fountain shows complete the festive line up.
Characters
Characters can be found all over the park. During Extra Magic Hours (8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.) Mickey and friends can be found on Main Street in holiday costumes. During the regular park hours, the following greetings are available:
- Marie the Cat
- Pooh, Thumper and Miss Bunny
- Merida
- Sandy Claws
The real Santa Claus can also be found at the park meeting visitors at the Meet Mickey attraction.
For a souvenir photo with Mickey and Minnie, head over to the Studios Park.
Merchandise
Finally, a large selection of Christmas Disneyland Paris merchandise can be found at stores throughout the Resort. Many of the items are exclusive to the park, although you might find a few items available at Walt Disney World.
