Ranking Disney’s Royal Weddings

Dearly beloved. we are gathered here today to review all of Disney’s Royal Weddings in anticipation of an actual real life fairytale. Prince Henry Charles Albert David (aka Harry) has chosen Meghan Markle to be his bride. Our sincerest apologies to the other eligible maidens who were not invited to the ball. You can collect your tears on a lovely commemorative plate if you like.

Before we begin, a few notes on qualifications for this list. Firstly, either the bride or groom must be royal, disqualifying characters like Carl and Ellie from Pixar’s Up from being included since they don’t rule over any people. Secondly, some portion of the wedding has to actually be shown on screen, disqualifying any off-screen or presumed weddings from being ranked (Sorry, Belle and Beast). Lastly, the couple has to actually be wed by the end of the ceremony, disqualifying Giselle from Enchanted and Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldi from The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement since *spoiler alert* they didn’t get married. One more thing, this ranking considers all Disney Royal Weddings, whether they were animated, live action, or not even human.

Disney Royal Weddings are ranked on the following criteria, each worth up to five points:
