Photos/Video: 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

The 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays in underway with new sights, sounds, and tastes along with some returning classics.

Food & Merchandise Offerings

It wouldn’t be an Epcot festival without some amazing food offerings, including the new deli-inspired Holiday Kitchen L’Chaim! and a new Feast of the Three Kings dish.

This year’s merchandise offerings are very reminiscent of days of old, with the charger dish and the apron along with some great new stuff perfect for the Epcot fan in your family.

Two of my favorites from last year have returned: the Holiday Cookie Stroll (where you purchase different cookies around the Festival and you get a special completer cookie) and the Chip & Dale Christmas Tree Spree scavenger hunt with special paper ornaments as the redemption prize.

Entertainment

This year two new pieces of entertainment have been added to the Festival, a very fun German band that brings new life to the park and a new Hanukkah Storyteller.

Of course, for me, the true stars of the Festival will always be the Voice of Liberty as Dickens Carolers and the Candlelight Processional.

Decorations

Even for the guests just walking the park, there is so much to see with amazing decorations all across the park.

Of course, no visit to Epcot International Festival of the Holidays would be complete without a visit to Santa and Mrs. Claus.
As we head toward the end of 2018 and lead into 2019, that means that Illuminations: Reflections of Earth will be glowing away after next summer. My Christmas wish is that, somehow, the Holiday Finale finds a way to stick around for the next Festival.

I was invited to take part in a special media day for the Festival of the Holidays but, with so much more to see and do, I will return many times before it ends on December 31st.
