Video: Valentine’s Day Decorations, Scavenger Hunt Make Disneyland the Perfect Romantic Holiday Getaway

This Valentine’s Day in Southern California, when you’re deciding how to spend a romantic evening or day out with your loved one, why not consider The Happiest Place On Earth? Disneyland is already decked out with amorous decorations from the Main Entrance plaza to Town Square, including a new Mickey Mouse flower portrait and a “sweethearts” photo opportunity.

Stroll with your significant other along Main Street, U.S.A. and check out the colorful hearts and festive flowers that have been mounted on the buildings and Get Your Ears On bunting, along with the Main Steet Vehicles that bring guests back and forth from Disneyland’s Hub.

Plus, those who want to go the extra Valentine’s Day mile can treat their special someone to Minnie’s Valentine’s Day Surprise scavenger hunt, which sets you off on a quest around the entire park to track down a series of hidden greeting cards emblazoned with a variety of favorite Disney characters.

Once you locate the cards, you simply place the corresponding sticker in the appropriate spot on the scavenger hunt game board placard (purchased for $6.99 plus tax at select merchandise locations) then return to claim your prize after you’ve figured out the secret message. In the video below, we streamed our experience with Minnie’s Valentine’s Day Surprise live from Disneyland, and as you can see, (SPOILER WARNING) it’s a tremendous amount of fun, though it may leave you gasping for air if you try to finish the hunt in less than an hour.
