Photos – New Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Details, Easter Eggs Revealed by D23

With just several weeks left to go until the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area opens at Disneyland, it can be tempting to try and hold off from learning about any more details, features, or Easter Eggs inside the impressively intricate new land coming to the Happiest Place On Earth.

But who can resist looking at a batch of exciting new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge photos published this morning at D23 – The Official Disney Fan Club’s website, and to be featured in the next issue of the organization’s “Disney twenty-three” printed magazine?

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will host countless Star Wars artifacts, such as the mounted taxidermied heads of creatures seen two images above (from right to left that’s a Tauntaun, what looks like a baby Rancor, and could that be a Moof?) and the IG-series assassin droid perched on a crate atop a railed balcony. Perhaps this deadly droid is biding his time, waiting to strike when his bounty approaches.

Also in D23’s gallery from this morning are photos of Dok-Ondar’s Jedi artifacts, a mounted Nexu, and Imperial helmet display, interior shots of the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction and a cool Easter Egg at its exit, details of the Resistance I-TS shuttle and A-Wing Starfigter, a peek at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo’s references to the original trilogy’s release dates, cool atmosphere, weathering, and Aurebesh-language messages around Black Spire Outpost. For the remainder of the seventeen total images, you’ll have to become a D23 Gold or Gold Family Member!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens Friday, May 31 at Disneyland Resort and Thursday, August 29 at Walt Disney World. For more information and advance ticketing resources, be sure to visit the official Disney Parks website.
