Yesterday was May 4th, aka Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you), and Disney Store celebrated with some limited release t-shirts and a special Tsum Tsum release. Battle Worn Boba Fett was made available in mini and medium sizes, both variants of the already released standard Boba Fett, which also comes in large. Never before has a Tsum Tsum looked so worn out prior to excessive play by small children.
If you’re playing the Tsum Tsum game, than you know that Star Wars has finally made its mark there as well. While the Marvel Universe is being kept completely separate, with a special Marvel Tsum Tsum game in development, Star Wars doesn’t mind swimming in the same pool as Mickey Mouse. Three Star Wars characters are now available in the game. Most importantly, is Luke Skywalker.
GET! When you activate Luke’s power, an “X” shape appears on the screen, clearing all Tsums in its path as an X-Wing flies by.
What would a Jedi apprentice be without a Jedi Master? Enter Master Yoda.
Get, you will. Work like White Rabbit and Bumble Pooh, Yoda does. Stops time, yes. Connect all Tsums, yes. Hmm hmm hmm! Big score, there will be.
Lastly, Tsum Tsum has found the droid you’re looking for. R2-D2 gets even rounder now that he’s a Tsum Tsum.
Bee Boo Boo Bee! (Tanslation: GET!) R2-D2 emits an electric shock for his skill strong enough to make any Tsum go “WHEEEEEEEOOOOOOO!”
Luke Skywalker, Yoda and R2-D2 are in Lucky Time until June 19th, which means you have a higher chance of getting them in Premium Boxes. Tsum Tsum also promises a new Star Wars event game, with parts 1 and 2 “Coming soon.” Nothing else is known, but it looks like you will work towards a Land Speeder and a Star Destroyer. I can’t wait!
Way off topic of Star Wars but on topic of Tsum Tsum, if you want to check out the latest releases from Disney Store be sure to check out last week’s video. I go into detail on the Disney Parks Haunted Mansion series, as well as the new release based on The Jungle Book and a cute Minnie Mouse Dress box set straight from Japan!
