Disney’s The Lion King opens tonight, Friday, August 13 at 8:00pm at Salt Lake City’s Capitol Theatre for a limited engagement of seven weeks through Sunday, September 26.
While the engagement has already sold more than 85,000 tickets and generated more than $7 million at the box office, seats are still available for Saturday, August 14 at 8:00pm; Wednesday, August 18 at 2:00pm and the final two weeks September 14-26.
Tickets to Disney’s The Lion King are available at the Capitol Theatre Box Office and ArtTix outlets, by calling ArtTix at 801.355.ARTS (M-F 10:00am-6:00pm; Sat 10:00am-2:00pm), or via the Internet at www.ArtTix.org. Ticket prices for the engagement start as low as $40. Premium Ticket Packages, which include prime seat locations, a commemorative souvenir program and an exclusive merchandise item, are also available.
Disney’s The Lion King plays Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30pm; Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm; Sunday at 6:30pm and matinees on Saturday at 2:00pm and Sunday at 1:00pm, with additional performances on Thursday, August 12 at 2:00pm; Wednesday, August 18 at 2:00pm and Friday, September 24 at 2:00pm.
