IMAX announces TRON: Legacy more than $51.4 million worldwide of the film’s $328.8 million at the box office has been from IMAX theatres.
Domestically, TRON: Legacy generated $34.7 million at IMAX theatres and $16.7 million internationally.
Recently TRON: Legacy opened on 24 IMAX locations across China, generating approximately $1.2 million in its opening week. The film is still scheduled to open in several international markets, including Germany and Austria, as well as an exclusive IMAX-only five-day engagement in France before the general nationwide release.
