Yanbo Jiang, a 19-year-old Chinese student studying in the US, was arrested on Monday after being caught taking pictures of children at the Magic Kingdom on Nov. 27.
According to the report a woman said Jiang was standing on his toes trying to take a picture of her 4-year-old daughter’s rear end. The woman grabbed Jiang and directed him to a nearby Cast Member who called for security.
When deputies searched his phone they found several pictures of children between 4 and 7 that were taken inside the park including one in a bathroom stall.
Several witnesses heard Jiang respond he didn’t know the girl was 4 and thought she was 5 or 6 years old. He also stated “it’s not like I want to be this way.”
Jiang was studying at Columbus State University in Georgia but visited the Magic Kingdom late last year and admitted to taking the inappropriate pictures.
