“Gravity Falls” Redubs Episodes to Remove Louis C.K.

Following allegations (and an admission) of sexual misconduct on the part of comedian and actor Louis C.K., Disney XD has redubbed episodes of Gravity Falls that C.K. appeared in. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, C.K. originally lent this voice to show’s Weirdmageddon episodes, playing the role of The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity. However, the character has now been credited to show creator Alex Hirsch. A spokesperson for Disney confirmed that change to THR, saying, “The role was rerecorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world.”
