“Zombies” Star Milo Manheim Joins Cast of “Dancing with the Stars”

With it’s 27th Season about to start, Dancing with the Stars is beginning to announce this year’s lineup. Zombies star, Milo Manheim is joining the cast and will be paired with the delightful Witney Carson.

What’s happening:

  • Dancing with the Stars is returning this fall and this year’s celebrity lineup is being revealed. Actor and star of the Disney Channel Original Movie Zombies, Milo Manheim, will be the youngest cast member dancing this season.
  • People.com reported that 17 year old, Manheim has been partnered with Witney Carson, who was the Season 19 victor with celebrity partner Alfonso Ribeiro.
  • Manheim’s casting was announced earlier today on Good Morning America.
  • The rest of Season 27’s Stars cast will be announced tomorrow on GMA.

According to People, GMA’s Michael Strahan spoke with Manheim about the show, dancing, and the overall experience.

  • Milo Manheim: “Once we started getting going, it was nothing like I ever imagined. It’s so much more difficult than I thought it would be. I’ll be dancing with her and thinking I’m doing a really good job, and then I’ll look back at the video and I just look terrible.”
  • Manheim on dancing with Carson: “We have so much fun. I look forward to it every day. … But she is tough.”
  • Manheim on whether he’s prepared to dance in front of millions: “Absolutely not. But I will get there!”
  • Witney Carson: “I’m really excited. This is my tenth season on the show and that’s a lucky number for me. He’s got the personality, he’s got some rhythm and that’s all we really need.”
