This holiday season, the Walt Disney World Resort will debut a new fireworks show as part of the popular Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party — Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.
- As the Disney Parks Blog reveals, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will premiere during this season’s run of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties at Magic Kingdom.
- The show will, of course, be hosted by Minnie Mouse and feature a medley of classic carols, including “Joy to the World, “Deck the Halls,” “Up on the House Top,” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”
- Guests can also add a fireworks dessert party to their experience, which not only includes reserved viewing but also boasts such treats as chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, ice cream, seasonal fruits, cheeses and “other festive favorites.”
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties — featuring Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks — will be held on select nights from November 8th through December 22nd, 2019.
- Tickets for these events are now on sale.
Connecting the Dots
- This new show will replace the long-running Holiday Wishes show.
- Notably, it was previously announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties would also be getting new fireworks this season, replacing HalloWishes.
- You may recall that Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks spectacular titled Wishes departed in 2017.
- The current fireworks show, Happily Ever After, now performs nightly.
