Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2022 Announced

The Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced those that will be receiving stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for 2022, including Carrie Fisher, Ewan McGregor, and more.

What’s Happening:

  • The Walk of Fame Selection Panel made the announcement yesterday, June 17, of those who will be honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame including Ewan McGregor, Carrie Fisher, Ming-Na Wen, and more.
  • There are a total of 38 new honorees including Good Morning America host Michael Strahan in the new Sports Entertainment category.
  • Dates have not been chosen yet for the star ceremonies, and recipients have two years to schedule the ceremony from the date of selection. Announced dates can be found on WalkofFame.com 10 days prior to the dedication ceremony.

  • Motion Pictures: Francis Ford Coppola, Macaulay Culkin, Willem Dafoe, Salma Hayek, James Hong, Helen Hunt, Michael B. Jordan, Regina King, Ray Liotta, Ewan McGregor, Adam McKay, Jason Momoa, Tessa Thompson and Carrie Fisher (posthumous)
  • Television: Byron Allen, Greg Berlanti, Ricky Gervais, Peter Krause, Bob Odenkirk, Holly Robinson-Peete, Norman Reedus, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jean Smart, Ming-Na Wen and Kenan Thompson
  • Recording: Black Eyed Peas, George E. Clinton Jr., Ashanti Douglas, DJ Khaled, Avril Lavigne, Los Huracanes Del Norte, Martha Reeves and Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom (posthumous)
