Disneyland Magic Key Details Released, Coming August 25

The Disneyland Resort has finally revealed details on Magic Key and all the options Guests will have when it goes on sale on August 25.

What’s Happening:

  • Disneyland Resort has released details on Magic Key, the replacement for the annual pass program for Guests.
  • With prices ranging from $399 to $1,399, the different Magic Keys will have varying offerings and block-out date calendars, with free parking only included with the top-tier Dream Key option and 50% off parking with the Believe Key.
  • Monthly payment options are available for each pass, but only for California residents. There is also an exclusive Imagine Key for Southern California residents.
  • Magic Key Holders will also have special events and benefits like the Magic Key Terrace exclusively for holders located near the Golden Vine Winery. There will also be a Magic Key Holder Month.
  • No Show Rules will apply to the passes, meaning if you do not show up for your park reservations 3 times in 90 days, your pass will be suspended for 30 days from making new reservations. Keep in mind that you are able to cancel up to the night before if you cannot make a reservation date.
  • Reservations for Magic Key holders will come from a different pool than those who have regular park tickets, and can be made up to 90 days in advance.
  • Magic Key memberships will go on sale on August 25th, with Magic Key theme park reservations opening at the same time.

  • Magic Key Holders who enter Disneyland park will also get access to a limited-time experience at Starcade in Tomorrowland beginning on September 1st, which includes charging stations, photo opportunities, and more.

Purchasing a Magic Key

  • Starting August 25th, 2021 (no earlier than 10 a.m. PT), Guests can purchase their Magic Key and make a park reservation that same day.
  • Guests can purchase and manage their Magic Key through Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app, where you can check out the admission calendar, view, and book reservations.
