Disney+ Coming to South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in November

Disney+ has announced plans to launch in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in November 2021, with Disney+ in Japan receiving more content starting in October 2021.

What’s Happening:

  • During the Q3 earnings call yesterday, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that Disney+ will be coming to South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in November of 2021. He also mentioned that Disney+ in Japan will be receiving more content starting in October 2021.
  • Disney+ is currently available in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
  • More information on the launches will become available soon, as well as information on the expanded service content coming to Japan.
