New York Comic Con 2021 saw the cast and creators of many great new shows take the stage, including that of Y: The Last Man.

- The conversation mainly focused on specific plot points that have taken place in the few episodes that have already aired.
- The cast was then joined by surprise guest Brian K. Vaughan, the writer of the best-selling comics on which the new show is based.
- Vaughan talked about his work being adapted for TV:
- “I cannot believe how excellent this show is. I mean, to say that it elevates the source material is such an understatement, I just think it has transformed it.”
- “Meeting with [Clark] I was like ‘please, make it your own, make it better.’ I didn’t think you would make it that much better.”
- Both Vaughan and Clark also campaigned a bit for second season of the new show.
Y: The Last Man Synopsis:
- “In the series, all of the men are dead but one. Y traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event has decimated every male save for one lone human. The new world order of women will explore gender, race, class and survival.”
