Jill Larson took over the role of Opal Cortlandt, the eccentric mother of Tad "the cad" Martin, the late lamented Jenny, and young Petey Cortlandt, was next. "I don't know how to work computers or the internet," she drawled, "Ah'm a luddite."

David Canary plays Adam Chandler, tough corporate baddie, and gentle Stuart Chandler, Adam's twin brother. He stopped by the table, and remembered talking to me in the elevator at the DCA opening, and asked about my mom, to whom he'd sent a nice note. After talking to us and taking photos, he entered the Chandler Mansion set, directly next to where we were sitting in the Wharf, to tumultuous applause. In this photo, David is greeting fans with a smile while his alter ego frowns down upon him from his portrait above.

I talked with the Star of the Restaurant the other 49 weekends of the year, who did not bring headshots, unfortunately. The bad news: other than on the Super Soap Weekends, he doesn't see the fantastic breakfast coming back anytime soon. The good news: the menu is changing to better suit the tastes of park guests.

Super Soap Weekend Part One was a BLAST. I'll have more stories and photos later in the week.
