Welcome Home: Disney Adventure Arrives In New Home Port of Singapore

The largest (and newest!) ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet has arrived in its new home in Singapore.

What's Happening:

• After nearly two-months of globetrotting, the new Disney Adventure has arrived in its new homeport of Singapore, where it will stay for a minimum of five years.
• The ship arrived in the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore where it was greeted by a water salute, fireworks, and cheering cast members and fans.
• The red carpet was rolled out for more than 200 Singapore cast members and their family members and loved ones, as well as partners, who gathered in style for a celebration that was inspired by the Hollywood Spotlight Club, one of the ship’s rotational dining locations.
• The Disney Adventure features seven uniquely themed areas, with itineraries designed for days of fun at sea. The ship will introduce a series of firsts to the region, from regionally inspired cuisine and attractions at sea to new retail locations and numerous entertainment options at both the Walt Disney Theatre and the Garden Stage.
• This arrival comes only days ahead of the ship's scheduled maiden voyage on March 10.

The Adventure is The Journey:

• The arrival in the new homeport of Singapore has been weeks in the making.
• After the ship was handed over to Disney from the Meyer Werft shipyard, a worldwide journey was launched that also saw the ship arrive in Port Canaveral, Florida, visiting the main port of the Disney Cruise Line.
• From there, the ship left and went through the Panama Canal, arriving in Los Angeles before a Trans-Pacific Journey that saw the ship arrive in Tokyo before making its way to its new homeport in Singapore.
