Come On, Get On Up For A First Look at Some "Zootopia" Fun Arriving at Shanghai Disney Resort

We’re getting more details and a look at some of the fun that guests will experience with the new Zootopia celebration at the Shanghai Disney Resort. 

What’s Happening: 

• Earlier this month, we learned of a special celebration of all things Zootopia 2, coming to the world’s only Zootopia-themed land at the Shanghai Disney Resort. 
• As part of the fun, the area - themed to the original 2016 film from Walt Disney Animation Studios - will kick off a special event starting today, November 18th. 
• For a limited time, guests will be able to experience fun new additions tying the land to the upcoming Zootopia 2, which is set to debut later this month on November 26th. 
• The fun starts as soon as guests enter Shanghai Disneyland, where they will find Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in their stunning new looks. Judy stuns in an elegant yellow gown with shimmering calendula-inspired headpiece details, while Nick steps out in a sharp suit and bow tie.

• Now through January 27, 2026, Judy and Nick will appear at the Main Entrance entry portal in these looks. 
• On the popular attraction, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, the finale scene has also been updated. Usually, we see Gazelle singing “Try Everything”, but for the special event, we’ll get to hear the new song, “Zoo” from the upcoming new movie. 

• Around the land, special details have also been added tying into the upcoming film, including different props and references that can be found on Nick and Judy’s desks, a street sign pointing toward Marsh Market, and more.
