LP Lotion: The New Blue Sky Cellar at Disney California Adventure

In the midst of the activity surrounding “One More Disney Day” at the Disneyland Resort, the Blue Sky Cellar in Disney California Adventure quietly opened a new exhibit. The updated displays give a comprehensive look at Cars Land, which is scheduled to open to the public on June 15.
One of the two wine cask themed work desks now delineates the process of laying out Carsland. It displays three different plan views, including the final version. The other desk shows various plans for neon signs that will adorn Radiator Springs.
A large display model of the entire land dominates the center of the room. To the side, another display case is filled with maquettes of elements that will appear in Cars Land.
Bulletin boards along the wall illustrate new attraction posters, details of attractions, and elements that will support the “story” of Cars Land. In the screening area, a new film presents the Imagineers who are bringing Cars Land to life for eager fans.
