Disneyland Resort Offers Southern Californians Two Days At Two Theme Parks for Price of One-Day Admission

The Disneyland(TM) Resort "Resident Salute" ticket offer this year offers the opportunity to explore all the exciting adventures found in both theme parks at the Resort. Southern California residents can purchase a special ticket offering one day's admission to Disneyland park and one day's admission to Disney's California Adventure(TM) park -- two full days of fun at two separate parks for the price of a one-day ticket.

"Resident Salute," a tradition at the Resort for more than a decade, allows guests to purchase up to five special tickets per day with proof of Southern California residency (driver's license, utility bill, etc.; Zip Codes 90000 through 93599). This year's "Resident Salute," in effect January 6 through May 14, 2003, is available to guests 10 years and older for $47 and to guests 3 to 9 years for $37. One day's admission must be used on the date of purchase and the other must be used by May 14, 2003. Tickets will be sold at Resort ticket booths.

With "Resident Salute," Disneyland Resort expresses its appreciation for its Southern California neighbors -- traditionally the Resort's most loyal and supportive guests.

"Resident Salute" offers Southern Californians a terrific opportunity to enjoy Disney's California Adventure, which celebrates the California experience throughout four theme lands. Among the top attractions are the new "Disney's Aladdin -- A Musical Spectacular" stage musical in the Hyperion Theater that takes live stage entertainment to new heights, and a variety of fun-filled attractions for kids in the new "a bug's land." Other popular features include the "Soarin' Over California" hang-gliding simulation, the giant "California Screamin'" roller coaster and the magical, sparkling lights of "Disney's Electrical Parade" Friday through Sunday nights.

Disneyland offers the "Indiana Jones(TM) Adventure," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Star Tours," "Splash Mountain," "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" and other favorites. Disneyland also features an array of live entertainment including the "Disneyland Parade of the Stars" and, on weekends, the "Believe... There's Magic in the Stars" fireworks spectacular.

To all guests from outside the Southern California area, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure tickets are also available at the regular prices -- $47 for guests 10 years and older for each park, $37 for guests ages 3 through 9 for each park.

"Resident Salute" has been offered periodically since 1991. Because it traditionally occurs during the Resort's less crowded times, some attractions may be closed for scheduled maintenance. Entertainment schedules vary. For information, call 714/781-4565 or visit www.disneyland.com.
