Next Week in Disney: Oct 14-20

Sorry I havn't been posting much, but it was a busy week at Disney, and with this cold Doobie gave me, I barely had the time to keep on top of everything. But now, lets look ahead.

October 14th: David Cassidy is performing at the Eat to the Beat Concert series through Tuesday. Of course his song, "C'mon Get Happy" is best known for being used by ABC in their Happy Hour campaign that revolutionized ABC. (HEHE I'm just kidding)

October 15th: "Samantha Who" premieres today on ABC at 9:30/8:30 central. This is a very important event, because it is a rare day that ABC premieres a comedy that is funny.

October 16th: Transformers comes out on DVD. I know its not Disney, but it should be. It is the best movie of 2007, so have some balance in your life and watch it. For those that NEED a Disney connection Shia LaBeouf is in it.

October 17th: Gosh Golly Goofy, Little Richard is performing at Epcot. I still remember him performing Itsy Bitsy Spider on the Disney Channel 24/7 in the 90's. He was the original Hannah Montana, wiith the exception that Hannah Montana can sell out a concert tour.

October 18th: Speaking of the Disney Channel, Johnny and the Sprites perform at Disney-MGM Studios as yet another act in the Playhouse Disney In Concert series. The theme song is written by Stephen Schwartz who wrote lyrics for Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the upcoming Enchanted.

October 19th: For those that missed it last year, or those that want to see it again, Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas is presented in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters. With all this talk that Tim Burton might be doing another project with Disney, perhaps this will be the occasion to announce it.

October 20th: Thomas Kinkade, the self-proclaimed, painter of light, is premiering his new piece, A New Day at the Cinderella Castle, at the Magic Kingdom. I hear the real reason that he was invited was because they are running behind on installing the Christmas lights on Cinderella Castle, so the painter of light is going to just paint them on. It's true, I read it on the internet.
