Epcot Gets Turned Inside Out as Joy and Sadness Greet Guests

07The newly expanded Epcot Character Spot just got a little more crowded with the addition of Joy and Sadness and their Headquarters. This meet and greet takes place in the former IBM Innoventions location and is a perfect addition. The queue is a step up in long-term memory storage (note the all sadness bottom row) and the word long is a key because the wait can easily be 45 minutes to an hour. Once inside Headquarters, Joy and Sadness are perfect and the set up makes you feel like you just stepped into Riley’s head with the viewport behind the characters and the windows out to the memories behind the Disney Photopass Cast Members. By far one of my favorite parts of this meet and greet are the memory bubbles along the walls. They all are lite up and actually change as “new memories are made.” This will be a must do for any Disney*Pixar fan. While you should be ready to wait, I can say that meeting these two is definitely worth it!
