Children’s Book Review: “Summer Adventure for Groot!”: A Sweet Addition to the Rocket and Groot Series

Summer Adventure for Groot!, set for release on April 2, is the fourth installment of the hit Rocket and Groot picture book series and is set to delight young readers and parents alike, getting them excited for summertime!

In this delightfully illustrated, vibrant book, readers accept the challenge of a special mission: map every planet for the expedition! (Oh yes, cute rhymes abound.)  The Guardians of the Galaxy set out on a jam-packed, fun-filled adventure to map the cosmos and see and do as much as possible in one day. From surfing the waves of Zenn-La and riding a tandem bike on Morag to playing hide-and-seek in Asgard and enjoying a dazzling display of fireworks on Xandar, Rocket and Groot enjoy all the best activities the galaxy has to offer.

Summer Adventure for Groot! is a warm and wonderful addition to the Rocket and Groot picture book series and the rhymes make it fun to read together and aloud. Young readers and families may also begin thinking about their summer plans and be inspired to create a to-do list of their own. The sky – or rather, the galaxy – is the limit!
