We’re (almost) there. It’s finally (nearly) done. Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox is (practically) complete. So naturally, the internet is going to have some fun with the news.
You didn’t think a story involving one massive entertainment company acquiring the assets of another massive entertainment company would come and go without a few memes did you? If so, you just haven’t been paying attention to the internet lately.

All jokes aside though, 21st Century Fox CEO Rupert Murdoch acknowledged the more serious side of the transaction with a heartfelt note to his staff ahead of the closure of the deal. Take a look at his note below (courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter).
