Disneyland Resort to Release 140,000 Beneficial Bugs in Celebration of 40th Anniversary of Earth Day

Guests and local school children will help Disneyland Resort in releasing thousands of ladybugs for the benefit of the environment. This experience will teach students environmentally friendly gardening practices and educate them on the advantages of using beneficial bugs. These bugs seek out pests in the landscape, reducing the use of pesticides. The event will take place on April 22nd at 9:00 a.m. in “a bug’s land” at Disney’s California Adventure.
