According to Variety, Tim Allen is in talks to star in the comedy “Man Up,” which has a put pilot order at ABC. Editor’s note: a “put pilot” is an agreement between the network and show’s studio that if the pilot doesn’t air the network will incur substantial penalties, so a “put pilot” announcement is a good indication that the pilot will be picked up.
