IMAX announces TRON: Legacy An IMAX 3D Experience will feature more than 43 minutes of footage specifically designed to take advantage of the IMAX Experience. Seven sequences on The Grid expand on the IMAX screen, further immersing audiences in the massive scope and scale of TRON: Legacy, only in IMAX(R) 3D.
TRON: Legacy will be released to IMAX theatres simultaneously with the film’s wide release next Friday, December 17th. The film will open on 234 IMAX 3D screens domestically and on at least 101 IMAX screens internationally, 55 of which will open next Friday, with the other runs debuting over the following weeks.
