Recently, hundreds of teens experienced that magic up close. WDI, in association with Maker Faire’s “Maker Camp” – a month-long, virtual DIY camp – and Google+, hosted a live “field trip” of their usually top-secret facilities via Webcast.

During the tour, introduced by Imagineering chief creative executive, Bruce Vaughn, students and other viewers got a glimpse at some of the unique and innovative processes Imagineers use during the design phase of their projects. The tour concluded with students asking Bruce and other Imagineers an array of questions, from highly technical inquiries to career advice.
