New Years Six Bowls to air on ESPN

With the new College Football Playoff post-season format – four teams meeting in semifinals followed by a championship contest between the winning programs – ESPN and ESPN Radio will provide New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day tripleheaders as part of a 36-hour New Year’s Six bowl schedule.

The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will lead off the New Year’s Six at 12:30 p.m. ET on ESPN followed by the VIZIO Fiesta Bowl at 4 p.m. and the Capital One Orange Bowl at 8 p.m. Then, the first day of 2015, the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at 12:30 p.m. continues the momentum toward the national semifinals: The Rose Bowl Game Presented by Northwestern Mutual (5 p.m.) where No. 2 Oregon takes on defending national champion and No. 3 Florida State, and the Allstate Sugar Bowl (8:30 p.m.) pitting No. 1 Alabama against No. 4 Ohio State. The winners will play in the College Football National Championship Presented by AT&T Monday, Jan. 12, at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.

In addition, ESPN Deportes will provide exclusive Spanish-language coverage of both semifinals and the national championship and ESPN Deportes Radio will carry the national championship game, marking the first-ever national Spanish-language radio broadcast of a college football title game.
