Disney XD’s “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything” Scores With Record-Setting Launch

Disney XD’s Wednesday Crushes Ratings Records with Premiere of “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything,” “Kirby Buckets” and Special Crossover “Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med”

“Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything” (9:30 – 10:00 p.m.)

The premiere of “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything” was Disney XD’s #1 series debut in the network’s over 15-year history (includes Toon Disney) among its primary demographic, Boys 6-11 (398,000/3.3 rating), the network’s #2 live-action series premiere ever among Boys 2-11 (442,000/2.2 rating) and its #3 live-action launch of all time in Total Viewers (976,000), Kids 6-11 (522,000/2.2 rating) and Kids 2-11 (583,000/1.5 rating). “Gamer’s Guide” won its half hour among target Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11 and placed a solid #2 in Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11.

“Gamer’s Guide” grew by solid margins in Live + 3 ratings: +9% in Total Viewers (976,000 vs. 898,000), +10% in Kids 6-11(522,000 vs. 473,000) and +9% in Kids 2-11 (583,000 vs. 534,000).

“Kirby Buckets” (8:00 – 8:30 p.m.)

“Kirby Buckets” kicked off the night hitting over 8-month highs in Kids 6-11 (292,000/1.2 rating) and Kids 2-11 (319,000/0.8 rating) – since 11/3/14, 11/17/14 and 11/24/14, respectively – and garnered near 8-month highs in Total Viewers (542,000) and Boys 6-11 (204,000/1.7 rating – since 12/1/14.

“Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med” (8:30 – 9:30 p.m.)

The premiere of crossover special “Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med” ranked a dominant #1 in the hour across target Kids 6-11(589,000/2.5 rating), Boys 6-11 (370,000/3.1 rating), Kids 2-11 (658,000/1.7 rating) and Boys 2-11 (420,000/2.1 rating)demographics and was the #3 original scripted cable TV series telecast in Total Viewers (1.247 million).

“Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med” delivered a 1-year “Lab Rats” high in Total Viewers and was the series’ highest-rated telecast in close to 6 months across Kids 6-11, Boys 6-11, Kids 2-11 and Boys 2-11 – since 7/28/14 and 2/4/15, respectively.

The special stood as “Mighty Med’s” #1 telecast of all time in Total Viewers and was its #2 telecast on record in Kids 6-11 and Kids 2-11.

“Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med” surged in Live + 3 ratings across the board, including by 16% in Total Viewers (1.247 million vs. 1.071 million), by 19% in Kids 6-11 (589,000 vs. 497,000) and by 17% in Kids 2-11 (658,000 vs. 561,000).
