Reports indicate that ABC has ordered a pilot for a series surrounding Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.s Mockingbird character. The series would star Adrianne Palicki as Mockingbird and Nick Blood as Lance Hunter. Earlier reports indicated that a spinoff featuring these characters was being considered by ABC, but was not picked up.
The show, entitled “Marvel’s Most Wanted” is being created by “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. producers Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski. There is no word on a possible premiere date if the series is picked up or if the pilot will be seeded as an episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
Currently ABC airs two Marvel series with S.H.I.E.L.D. about to enter its third season and Agent Carter preparing for a sophmore run.
Additionally, ABC Studios is produced the successful Daredevil series for Netflix which is currently in production on a second season.
