Marilyn Monroe Spas has named Jim Lewis, former president of Disney Vacation Club, as its CEO.
He joins other Disney alumnus including former president of worldwide operations Al Weiss who is the company’s executive chairman. Another Disney alum is Marily Monroe Spas’ chief marketing officer Linda Warren who was with Disney from 1979 to 2009.
The founder of Marilyn Monroe Spas is Niki Bryan who ran Walt Disney World’s spas prior to the decision to bring their operation in-house in 2012.
Lewis joined Disney in 1996, eventually running the Disney Vacation Club business. He was ousted in 2011 when it was discovered that the membership dues for Aulani could not cover the resort’s taxes, maintenance, and operating expenses.
